I'm going to start with the food because usually if there is one dish that I'm 'eh' about I will only give 4 stars, but even with an average plate during this meal, it's still 5 stars because everything was amazing. Weird to start with my least favorite dish first but here we go. I was disappointed with the tuna appetizer :( the portion was good but there was no flavor to the dish, mainly because there wasn't a sauce. It really needed more. I tried to rub the tuna on the decorative plating sauce on the side but it wasn't enough and it didn't compliment the tuna the way I would have liked it to. It was a bummer and I really hope they re-invent this dish because it could be amazing. Especially since the rest of the food was delicious and flavorful. The menu says 'morita mayo' but there wasn't any mayo or sauce on the dish that we got. Unsure if it was a mistake or not. Okay so the good stuff. Good GOD get the guac/salsa platter. The guac was incredible. I really loved the pear/date one. It shouldn't make sense but it did. The salsa was flavorful. I loved them all. The chips were corn based so my boyfriend could have it (gf). We also got the octopus and pork belly appetizer and they melt in your mouth. Highly recommend if you are a fan of either. For dinner we SHARED and I repeat defffinitely share the pork because it's huge. We ended up bringing some of it home. The pork melted in your mouth. I can't say enough good things about this dish. Our other family members got one too. Other people shared a special dish that had fish but it was arctic char and isn't on the regular menu, but they said it was great. Drinks were wild and delicious. They claim they have the best margarita in town, but I don't think that's true lol it's good, don't get me wrong but not the best I ever had. What was one of the best drinks that I ever had was the "que pasa" - I was nervous about the egg white but I couldn't even taste it. I would have gone through a lot of them haha The place itself is gorgeous and it's very large with a bar that has 2 smaller tvs. People were watching the football game. They have booths and regular tables, which is nice. Open type kitchen and clean bathrooms. Can't wait to go back!

This was a lively place and got livelier as the night went on. Our server, Casey, was great. He made helpful suggestions and also asked us if we were practicing dry January and offered a dry January menu. The drinks were delicious and not overly sweet. We started off with the chips & guacamole (traditional), followed by the pork belly appetizer and would recommend both. We ordered the fried avocado street tacos (also highly recommend) and the alambre steak tacos (overly seasoned and would pass). Overall, enjoyed our dinner here and would come back again.

I can't even begin to explain what a wonderful evening we had here. A friend and I went on a small getaway to Atlanta and he had heard about this restaurant. So we quickly made a reservation so that we can have this experience. All the food was absolutely delicious. There is no way to pick a star of the show because it was all amazing. Go hungry, go with friends, go share, many many delicious treats that are on the menu. The spice levels, the attention to detail and the love that is put into the food preparation shows. The chef even came out to our table for a quick chat. This is a very low-key beautiful restaurant however, I can see you when there's a lot of people it might be a little more rowdy :-)

I was hungry after leaving Treat Your Feet across the street and decided to grab a quick bite. I was seated as soon as I walked in. The bartender and my server, Miranda I believe, was very attentive and explained the menu and drink options for me. I started with a blood orange margarita with Tajin on the rim. It was beyond delicious. Since it was happy hour, I had two spicy chicken empanadas and the chorizo croquettes. The crust on the empanada was so fresh, flaky and paired will with the spicy chicken filling. The croquettes exceeded my expectations and the sauce it came with was truly delicious. I can't wait to return again for another great evening.

Nice mexican spot with elevated flavors. I've tried a few dishes and loved them all. I also love some of the unique margarita flavors they have. The only con is sometimes they run out of dishes on the happy hour menu. I think when they happen, they should replace it with something else for the day.

Visited with my coworker for my birthday lunch. She's always raved about the good food, ambience, drinks and small bites. Everything lived up to it! To start we did the guacamole trio - traditional, strawberry chamoy and charred spring onion, cotija. We ordered from the lunch express menu - pork enchiladas and mushroom enchilada. We shared the sweet plantains served with crema, chili-agave and Queso cotija. Neither entrees are on their regular menu and were scrumptious! I also ordered a nonalcoholic drink from the bar. It was like a piña colada made with coconut milk. Very refreshing and tasty. I felt lime we transported to a resort based on the service, food and ambiance. Maybe it's me but the hostess, manager, our server, the chef serving plates and man being the bar were melanated so that was cool! Top tier, fresh locally sourced ingredients and great energy from everyone. I can't wait to try more on the menu!

It was very quiet in there on a Friday night. We had a 7pm reservation, and there were between 5-7 other parties dining during our 3 hrs there. Parking is plentiful because it's the Terminus parking deck. Alma Cocina validates parking for up to 3 hours, so that's usually plenty for most diners. You can also valet your car, but we opted to self-park because it was easy. Naranjarita margarita - VERY GOOD, not too sweet Pork belly Masa - piece of pork was very fatty Guacamole trio was interesting and tasty. The apple chamoy was an unexpected combination for avocado, but it worked! It had a slightly smoky flavor and was not overly sweet. The hearts of palm guac was good, but had more of a bright lime juice flavor compared to the plain guacamole.  The prawns small plate was really good. Presentation was pretty and enjoyed how bright and spicy the base sauce was. It came with 2 triangles of bread, but i could have used even more to get all the sauce up. It also had a bright flavor that reminded me of Tom Yum soup. I wonder if there was lemongrass in it. Either way, i recommend it!
